Start 2013 with a Bang!

Make the most of yourself,  for that is all there is of you.  ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.

January…the month in which we think of new beginnings, of cherished memories of the previous year gone by and the desires of our heart.  As the cold months settle in around us, cuddle up with those you love or even by yourself and find a bit of solitude…a place where you can think of yourself…your life…and what brings you joy.

May you begin this new year with a bang!  This is the month to dream…to look forward to another chapter in your life’s journey.  Life is a gift…live it to it’s fullest!

What are your hopes for this year?  I have so many but this year instead of resolutions I’m writing down small goals…attainable goals and initiate aspirations.  I’m keeping my faith and believing that this will be a wondrous year for myself, my family, my business, our country…our world.

Here are a few of my goals.  Perhaps you may have some of the same.  I would love to hear about yours too!

Simplify life…get rid of the clutter!!  I actually started this goal last fall and it’s been great cleaning out the house and getting rid of things I haven’t used in years.  Let someone else enjoy those things.

Keep a balance between my business and home life.  Time seems to fly by and before we know it our little ones are grown.  Hold onto these precious days.

Scrapbook!!  It’s been to long!  A hobby I love and never seem to have time for.  It’s important to document these years for our children before it’s to late.

Display more of my art in our home for our family and others to enjoy.

Create an organized new office!  This is long overdue!

Exercise at least three times a week!  It’s important to take care of the most precious gift we have been given along with life!

I have many more goals. Perhaps I will create a list to share and document.  It seems when we write them down they are more concrete…set in stone!  You become more accountable for them.

Whatever you goals may be, I wish you much success and happiness in accomplishing them.  Just make the BEST of everything!  Think the BEST of everyone!  Hope the BEST for YOU!!  Happy 2013!

My goals are so similar! My word of the year is to “organize” – and I see you have made that one of your goals, as well.

I, too, want to start some sort of exercise routine. Not necessarily to lose weight, but to stay healthy. (However, any weight loss will certainly be welcomed!!) LOL

And finally, never go to bed with any dishes in the sink. I’d like to to start every morning with, at the very least, a clean kitchen!ReplyCancel

Such a beautiful photo (you know I love that place too). And as for your goals I have to agree with so many of them. Although I already display my art in my home…that is a must. But as for organizing, I need to be better organized. I plan on doing better this year. (Fingers crossed)

I wish you and your beautiful family a year filled with love, laughter, joy, health and so many blessings. Hugs from Florida. xoxoxoxoReplyCancel
