{ Project 52 Week 7 }

Theme for this week “Open Your Heart.”

This week’s photo idea came pretty easy to me being that yesterday was Valentine’s Day …a day set aside to show love for others

and the day I began my gratitude journal.

Gratitude…the memory of our heart which will unlock the fullness of life.

Gratitude helps us to look at life with a smile and helps us to see that each day brings us gifts.

Gratitude  brings peace for the day and helps us to create a vision for tomorrow. Gratitude can change your life forever.

I decided to begin a daily gratitude journal to help me to look at my life from a different perspective…to become an even happier person

and to be able to look back someday and see all the things I have so truly been blessed with.

Each night I will write down 3 things I can be grateful for that day and perhaps even one thing I wish could have gone better.

Some days my list may be filled with amazing things that happened…but most days it will probably be just simple joys.

Perhaps some days I will have a hard time thinking of things so…I will write the typical ones:

my faith, my health, my husband, my son, my family, my friends, our home.

In doing this gratitude journal I will begin to see my life change all around me.  That I to will change…and hopefully I will be aware

of the spiritual law that tells me the more grateful I am and have been given the more I will be given.

So wish me luck…perhaps you’ll decide to join me and start a gratitude  journal too!

“A joyful and pleasant thing is to always be grateful.”

    This is just beautiful! I don’t keep a gratitude journal, but I try to live in gratitude everyday…and it does change lives! It has changed mine and those dearest to me.ReplyCancel
