Theme for this week “From The Jewelry Box.”

Since I was on vacation in Jamaica for last week’s project I had to put on my creative hat.  So on Monday afternoon, I went over to a vendor who was at the resort selling her goods. I told her about my photography project and asked if she would be willing to let me use a jewelry box and fill it with jewelry I would love from Jamaica.  She said sure with excitement in her voice. What fun I had picking out things to fill the box and she enjoyed it as well.

I told her she should keep the box in the middle of her table filled with the jewelry for a marketing tool…it show’s off the box!  She agreed and kept it there for the day.

After photographing the jewelry box the Jamaican woman (who’s name I’m sorry to say I can’t remember) gave me the white shell bracelet in the photo as a gift.  How generous and thoughtful of her.  I am truly grateful and when I wear the bracelet I will always think of her and how I acquired it by being part of Project 52.
