It’s been very hard these past couple of days watching the news and seeing the many images of more devastating that has once again hit our country. I watch friends in Oklahoma communicating on Facebook and tears flow down my cheeks just wondering what it must feel like to have terribly loud furious tornados all around you for days. My heart aches as I prepare to go to bed tonight and as I kiss my little boy good night and say prayers with him…we are sending much love and prayers to Oklahoma…and especially praying for all the children and their families. I feel so extremely grateful and blessed for where I live tonight and for knowing my child…my family is safe in our home. I just can’t imagine losing everything. Yet these folks are strong and our country is strong and we will pull together once again to help these folks but for now I send my love to friends I have in Oklahoma and we will wrap your state in love and prayer.
This photo was just taken a few weeks ago at a parade by a friend of mine who is a photographer in Oklahoma. She lives just north of the city of Moore where lives have been turned upside down from these massage tornados. She sent me this image and gave me permission to use it in this post. When I first saw it posted on Facebook it hit me hard. God bless all the little children.
