CT Engagement Photographer ~ Matt and Sarah {Ellington, CT}

A happy engaged couple on an October afternoon with soft perfect lighting….that’s just what we had.  Matt is the nephew of a very good friend of mine so when she asked if I would do a small engagement session for them I was delighted.  It’s obvious Matt and Sarah are very much in love with one another and together we tried to create a kind of New York City style session after getting engaged in Central Park, New York City.  They were looking for cast iron fences, columns and such…luckily I found the perfect settings just a few minutes from my studio.

It was a joy to meet you Sarah and Matt.  Thank you both for being so kind, easy going and just plain fun to work with.  I wish you both the best of your special day and many, many happy years together.

Here are just a few of my favorites from our time together.  Enjoy!

    These are gorgeous Catherine! Love the location and my favorite is the groom dipping his fiance in front of those gorgeous doors. Love it. I really like the ring in the word “forever.” Clever idea!ReplyCancel

    Clever the way you used the engagement ring to spell out forever. I also liked the shoots with the champagne glasses and the romantic kisses. Was this shot in front of a church? You captured some sweet tender moments.ReplyCancel

    These photos are beautiful. especially loved the creative touch of the Scrabble letters with the engagement ring as the ‘o’. The bride-to-be being dipped in front of the gorgeous door and archway was lovely!ReplyCancel
