{ Here’s To A New Year And A New Project }

Ok…it’s two weeks into the New Year already and I’m off to a great start in getting my business organized, priorities in order, goals set and moving forward!

So here is one of my goals for 2011. It’s called “Project 52.”  Yes…I’m committing myself to take a photo a week for the entire year and

share my photo each week with you right here. Last year I did Project 365 with a good friend and that was work…so really this should be a breeze. RIGHT?

However, it’s changed a bit this year…there will be a theme each week. Having a theme will challenge my creativity, my technical skills and

truly push me to grow and mature as a photographer.

The photo week will run from Saturday until the following Friday and the photo must have been taken during that time.

Oh…and I’m not going alone on the project this year. I have joined hundreds of folks from all over and I heard about it right here. MCP Actions

Together we will learn from each other, share our thoughts, opinions and hopefully have a ton of fun! Come along and join us! It’s for photographers of all levels!

Challenge yourself this year.  Like me, you may just fall in love with photography ! It’s addicting!

Now last year, I shared many of my photos with friends on Facebook and loved the comments, advice and encouragement I received.  It was their support that kept me going!

So…I hope you’ll stop by and see my photo each week. Tell me what you think. How does the image make you feel and don’t forget to leave me some love…you know comments!

If you decide to join in on Project 52…I would love to see your work, leave me a comment with a link to your post!

So here’s Project 52-1 theme “Around The House.”

So why this photo? Many of you may have known that my Dad entered eternal life this past year.

For Christmas my brother Rick and his wife Barbara gave each sibling this ornament in memory of our Dad.

It was the most precious gift I received this year and I thought what better way to start my project

than with honoring my Dad. So to you Dad, you will truly be forever in my heart and in my life.

I love you and miss you so very much.
