CT Still Life Photographer ~ February Heart Challenge

It has come to an end…the Joyful Reflections February Heart Challenge which was held on Instagram.  It was definitely a challenge for me in regards to forcing myself to photograph a heart every day.  I want to thank all of you participated and I hope you really enjoyed it too. Perhaps we’ll have another contest soon!

Here are some of my favorites from the challenge. Please take a moment and enjoy the variety of creativity from all levels of  photographers from amateurs to the pros!

Loved seeing all your beautiful “heart” images this month and loved the idea of your contest! So sorry that I didn’t get a chance to participate…but definitely will try to in your next challenge!

My favorite picture above is the one of the heart shaped cookie cutters. I especially “hearted” (loved) the one of the blue handled and raised handled 40s/50s era cookie cutters with the scalloped edges. I remember using the same or a similar one baking Valentine’s cookies with my mom.

As always, your pictures give such lovely and warm memories for me, as the pictures evoke such powerful emotions. Thank you for sharing your talent.ReplyCancel

Thanks for sharing my photo of the ice sculpture heart. The event was in Putnam by the way, every winter it is held in town, called “Fire and Ice”. Fun way to spend a winter day, lots of little shops and excellent restaurants there too, Cathy TReplyCancel
