Welcome Ana Marti!

Summer has been extremely busy and our family has been away on vacation so blogging has been put aside for a bit.
Sorry…but we’re living life and that is so important.

I would like to introduce you to Ana Marti, our exchange student from Valencia Spain.  Ana arrived in America on July 8th and will be staying until August 2nd.  She came to America through the EF- Educational First Program and you can read more about this program at www.ef.com.  While in America, Ana will be learning about our culture while she attends school each day and is involved with school field trips along with living with our family.  It has been such a delight getting to know Ana and we too have learned much about her country.

Valencia is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain and is considered one of the most important cities in their country.  It lies along the Spanish Mediterranean which means Ana is used to hot weather.
Valencia is a very lively city full of rich history and has grown rapidly in the last years. There are many modern buildings and we hope to visit the country someday.

Ana has been enjoying America and just turned sweet 16 last week!  In the coming days I hope to share more with you about our time together.
