4th of July Inspirations

This 4th of July I had such a wonderful time photographing all kinds of patriotic creations I made.  Where did I get all these Ideas?  Many of them came from Pinterest!  Pinterest…a website for sharing what you love by “pinning” pictures of those things on image boards. Yes…virtual peg boards of all your favorite things.  Now you combine a powerful tool with the fun of social media!  The best thing…it’s free!  So you can start “pinning” today and also check out what others have pinned and see how together we share our inspirations.

I L O V E Pinterest and it’s one of my favorite past times when I need a bit of down time.  Who really needs magazines anymore!  I can look through wonderful ideas on all kinds of boards and click on those images and I will be taken right to the blog or website explaining more about the idea.

When I was a little girl I would gather magazines, sit on my bedroom floor and cut out pictures of things that appealed to me.  I would then create collages designing my dream life…my wants, my wishes and my desires.  What fun I had!  These collages were hung all around my bedroom.  They inspired me…just like Pinterest does for me today!

Take a moment and introduce yourself to the new world of inspiration waiting right in front of you…come follow me!  Here’s my Pinterest Page!  Just click follow and you will then see when I add more things to my boards.  Have fun…but be careful it’s very addicting!

Here’s a few shots of the Vernon fireworks I photographed with my pocket camera!  I just set it on fireworks mode and hit the shutter!  Oh yeah…have a tripod!
