Prayers for Oklahoma

It’s been very hard these past couple of days watching the news and seeing the many images of more devastating that has once again hit our country.  I watch friends in Oklahoma communicating on Facebook and tears flow down my cheeks just wondering what it must feel like to have terribly loud furious tornados all…

Natasha Sneak Peak.

This past weekend I met up with a lovely lady and wonderful friend, Natasha to photograph her at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT.  The roses are not in bloom, but the park itself offers so many wonderful places to photograph and we were happy to find some flowering bushes that were still in bloom.  If…

    This is such a beautiful photo. I’ve only met Natasha once, and her personality is wonderful. You captured a quiet essence of her. I need to get a photo shoot done to look that good! Smiles, CathReplyCancel

“Flea Market Flip” 2013 Brimfield Style!

Yesterday my friend Cathy from Cathy T’s Landscape Design and I had the most adventurous…wonderful day discovering all sorts of antique and unique items at the Brimfield Antique Show in Brimfield, MA!  We started out early because it was going to be a spectacular sunny day and we knew it would be crowded.  We met at The…

    I have fond memories of the Brimfield flea market. When I was younger, my Dad used to take us in the car for what seemed like an enormously long drive for us (we lived south of Boston). The treat for the kids was that once we were there, we would be able to get something like comic books, etc and my Dad would look for books that interested him. Thanks for sharing your post. I enjoyed it and my own trip down memory lane because of it 🙂ReplyCancel

    I am SO jealous! I’ve always wanted to go to the Brimfield, but I always hear about it too late! I have a jam packed weekend this weekend…so, again, I miss it!

    But I feel like I WAS able to attend, thanks to you two!

    In any case…there’s always next year!ReplyCancel

    While not the largest in the country, it is big! So huge that I saw only one or two photos that matched what my friend and I saw the next day – so many directions in which to go, it can be overwhelming! Great photos!ReplyCancel

    I went to Brimfield yesterday with my cousin Audrey and my friend Patti. We had a wonderful time! We have been going for a few years. We all came home with treasures. Audrey bought many unique items for her gardens and Patti and I bought lots of jewelry. We enjoyed our lunch eatting the home-made Polish food. Brimfield is a very different experience. Be sure and bring a cart as it will come in handy for all of your purchases. Definetly worth the trip.ReplyCancel

    This day with Catherine was my best day so far of the summer. We had such a blast, and if I had a big cart, I would have walked away with more good finds for the garden. Catherine’s energy feeds anyone around her, I’m lucky to have spent the day with her – and seeing her photograph so much. P.S. I want those green glass balls for my garden! CathyReplyCancel

    If you’re heading back to Brimfield in May, there is an iPhone app specifically for the show now. My husband and I developed it and it’s a labor of love. We hope you will check it out and let your readers know! Maybe we’ll see you in May!ReplyCancel

CT Baby Photographer ~ 6 month old Mitchell {Ellington, CT}

Little Mitchell was such a pleasure to be with while photographing him and his family at Valley Falls Park in Vernon Connecticut.  If you remember…six months ago Mitchell was the little boy I captured in the pumpkin with the little smile.  I was so pleased to see he was still wearing his smile for me…
