The Todd Family

I recently went on my first destination shoot to Colorado…my home away from home!  I was flown out by the Todd family to photograph their dogs.  Their babies…their pride and joy.  This was also my first experience photographing pets and I will say they give you a challenge. Probably my most challenging session thus far….

    Cute shots! We have 2 miniature schnauzers, black, so taking pictures of them is almost impossible, all you see are black blobs. One of them is named Abby!ReplyCancel

    The puppy shots are terrific Cath. Animals are very hard to photograph I’ve been told. The “family” picture is perfect. Mom, dad and dogs.ReplyCancel

    Cath, I enjoyed all of your pictures. First time taking pics of dogs,don’t believe it. I especially liked the one of Abby laying in the grass and the one of Molly in the car. Oh yes, the family one is also a favorite,looks just like all of them. A keeper.ReplyCancel

{ Project 52 – Week 45 }

Theme for this week “Book Title.” With this weeks challenge many books came to my mind but I decided on an all time classic book…”Gone With The Wind.”  A fabulous book that everyone should read at least once in their life time. Gone with the Wind, was first published in May 1936.  A romantic novel…

{Project 52 Week 43 and Week 44 }

Project 52 Theme “Shadows.” I decided to make Halloween cutouts and attached them to our pumpkins to make spooky shadows.  A fun little project.Project 52 – Week 44  Theme “Muted Tones.” What does muted tones actually mean…removing colors from an image and leaving it with shades of grey.  So I gave it my best shot!…

Connecticut Fall in 2011 ~ Storm Alfred.

When most of us you think of New England in the fall images of beautiful colored leaves…maple leaves especially come to mind, right?  Well, this year like every other we did have beautiful colorful leaves but things changed quite quickly when storm Alfred arrived last Saturday and pounded our little state with 10-18 inches of snow….

    Beautifully captured. My favorite photo is the colorful maple leaves up close with the snow. Great contrast with fall leaves and winter snow.ReplyCancel
