CT Newborn Photographer ~ Baby Cyrus {Ellington}

The love of a child makes you change
And become all that they will aspire to.
The blessing of a child makes you appreciate life
And hold on to those little hands
That God has give to you.
~Lisa M. Billings

 Oh boy, was I excited the day little Cyrus arrived at my studio for his newborn session. As you can see he is a little prince and he is also my great nephew. Precious and tiny and everything a new baby boy should be. He brought such joy to me as I photographed him, I just kept smiling at how cute he is.

Thank you Josh and Tatashi for the wonderful privilege of photographing your sweet little bundle of joy. Cherish ever moment with him…and be blessed.

CT Newborn Photographer ~ Such a Smile {Ellington, CT}

I recently had the privilege of photographing my newest great nephew Cyrus and his little smile in this image just warmed my heart.  When I saw I Heart Faces Photo Challenge was SMILE…I just had to enter it. I think it’s such sweetness when a newborn gives you a little smile and they’re old 12 days old. Life is precious.

Loved seeing all your beautiful “heart” images this month and loved the idea of your contest! So sorry that I didn’t get a chance to participate…but definitely will try to in your next challenge!

My favorite picture above is the one of the heart shaped cookie cutters. I especially “hearted” (loved) the one of the blue handled and raised handled 40s/50s era cookie cutters with the scalloped edges. I remember using the same or a similar one baking Valentine’s cookies with my mom.

As always, your pictures give such lovely and warm memories for me, as the pictures evoke such powerful emotions. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Thanks for sharing my photo of the ice sculpture heart. The event was in Putnam by the way, every winter it is held in town, called “Fire and Ice”. Fun way to spend a winter day, lots of little shops and excellent restaurants there too, Cathy T
