Middle School.

How excited our little man was to start school this week.  He began Middle School….really?  The years sure do fly by.  It’s seem as if I was just putting him on the bus for kindergarten.

We had a nice talk the day before school started and I asked him some questions.  One of my questions went like this…”So what are you looking forward to most entering 7th grade?”  His answer…”I look forward to more freedom, math challenges, trying out for the soccer team and cross country team and getting an iphone!”  He also shared with me his personal goals which are getting all A’s, making the soccer team, running a mile under seven minutes and continuing to improve in piano.  They all sound good to me and I was very happy he didn’t mention girls.  I’m not quite ready for that and my advise to him a year ago was…you don’t want a girlfriend…they’re to expensive!  He laughed but has shared that statement with a few of his buddies. They all grow up to fast!

My little man is maturing…yes I  hate to admit it but it’s happening.  Michael your mom and dad are very proud of you and we wish you the best this year!  Stay happy…be yourself…work toward your goals and keep listening to his spirit that talks to you…it will always lead you down the right path.  Love you!

Neighbors and the BEST of buds since they were two years old.
Back to the essentials of reading, writing and studying.

Perez Family Maternity Session

What can I say about this incredible couple and their little boy Leo. They are all gorgeous from the inside out and all know just how to work the camera!  In our short time together I could tell they are fabulous parents to Leo and will be for their new little boy “Dempsey” who is due in just a few weeks. We hiked up to the highest point in our town to do their photo session and I give Wendy tons of credit for making the hike. I wanted to create a relaxed and serene session that captured this family naturally…in beautiful natural light.  I love how the light was soft for us and we stayed until the sun went down. Each of us felt a bit closer to Heaven being there and it perfect.

Wendy and Julian…I’m so excited for you both and look forward to meeting baby Dempsey soon!  Enjoy your little preview.

Catherine,
It seems you outdo yourself with each successive photo session!
Being pregnant is such a special time in a prospective mother’s life anyway and the way you’ve presented it makes it even more to be cherished!
The photo with Wendy in the grass with her beautiful dress was incredible. Also, the first one with the parasol silhouetting her figure in the afternoon light, was phenomenal. Great, great work!
If I lived in your area, I would already be a repeat, repeat…customer!!! :)
