It’s Texture Week

Project 52 – Week 28
Theme for this weeks photo challenge “Texture.”

This past week has been very exciting for us.  Michael is going for his first appointment with a modeling agency tomorrow afternoon and Mom had to create a CD of images to give them.  So of course, I had to take some photos with his latest look… a good reason for a photo session or even two!

I decided to take one of the images from our time together and apply a texture I found on Flickr.  It’s great finding and playing with different textures in Photoshop.  Do you have a favorite?  I would love for you to share a photo with me of yours.  In comments, put a link to it!

It’s interesting how textures work and how you can erase the effect where you don’t want it applied.  I love this split look, Michael is actually leaning against our shed and under the green wall on the left hand side it has green natural background.  I also love how the image makes his green eyes pop and I did not photoshop them…I just found some great light.  Kinda cool.  What do you think?

I love this photo~~ Michael’s eyes are simply amazing. What a wonderful memory for him you’ve made here and that texture is so cool. I love the little fern plant that shows on the bottom left. Good luck to Michael on his modeling appointment. I am sure he will do awesome! Great work my friend……. :)
