Here’s a favorite photo of my most precious son Michael a couple of years ago. He went picking sunflowers for his mama. Oh I love this boy! Oh he brings me such joy!
I had a wonderful Mother’s Day with my boys. It all started with being served breakfast in bed. Homemade waffles with walnuts, apples and whipped cream piled on top. It doesn’t get any better than that. Michael cuddled in bed with me for quite awhile and I told him all about the day I became a mom. Yes…he has heard this story before but I think he really liked hearing it again.
We did a few things around the house and off it was to enjoy the great outdoors. The weather was perfect. Warm and sunny in the 80’s and I spent time in my gardens planting the beautiful flowers I got from the boy…especially Michael who recently went shopping at the school plant sale. I love the colors of Spring.
I enjoyed a fine meal made by my hubby of filet mignon, roasted potatoes with onions and corn on the cob. Delicious! It was a spectacular day and I am truly blessed.
Here’s a little something I made for all the wonderful Moms that I have had the pleasure of meeting these past couple of years. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day too! Click here.
