Theme for this week “Muse.”

This weeks challenge was to photograph our “Muse.”  Honesty, I wasn’t quite sure what it meant.

So I looked it up…A muse as a noun is defined as a guiding spirit or source of inspiration.

The spirit that is thought to inspire a poet or other artist.

As a mom, wife, photographer, I am inspired by so many things each and every day…with always something new and fresh.

There is such beauty all around me and I try my best to capture it…a moment frozen in time…a moment I will never have again.

I am truly blessed to know that my inspiration comes from above, my Heavenly Father who gives me everything I see, and do and to him I am forever grateful.

He gave me the ability to not only see, but to capture the beauty around me…the beauty of my family, the beauty of nature…this is what brings me muse.

God also blessed me the most precious gift ever…my one and only son Michael.

Not only is Michael one of my many muses, but he along with my husband, have always been my inspiration to venture into having my own photography business.

Michael is not only my greatest source for inspiration, laughter and love…he’s also my number one model!

So this week, I photographed Michael as we went snowshoeing in our backyard.

I absolutely love being with him enjoying the great outdoors and the beauty that lies all around us.

Please take a moment and browse through my portfolio and enjoy some of the photos I have captured.  Perhaps they will be the muse for you!
